It looks like Anita Baker won’t be taking the stage in Alabama anytime soon— her February concert in Birmingham has been canceled.

The platinum-selling R&B artist was set to bring “The Songstress” tour to the BJCC’s Legacy Area in Birmingham on Feb. 16 after rescheduling the show from its original Oct. 28 date.

Both the BJCC and Ticketmaster have listed the event as canceled on their websites. Patrons who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will not have to take action in order to receive a refund. According to the Ticketmaster website, the refunded money will be processed to the original form of payment used to buy the tickets.

For those who acquired tickets via transfer, the refunded money will go to the original ticket holder.

Anita Baker’s February tour date in Nashville has also been canceled. “The Songstress Tour” was originally set to hit Nashville on Oct. 26. The date was later rescheduled to Feb. 26.
